Situation

Rio Tinto have identified the requirement for 2 11kV kiosks to be installed in the Tom Price town (Zone Sub 3 & 4).

Solution

Aerison was engaged as the primary contractor to deliver the engineering and design, electrical, fabrication, installation, and commissioning works.

The scope included:

• Design, Fabrication and Commissioning of two 11kV RMU kiosks for Rio Tinto in the Tom Price town.
• Cyclonic kiosk design
• Lifting design includes minimal switchgear deflection
  allowances
• Electrical design including LV and protection
• Full Installation of switchgear, LV panel, control wiring of
  protection relays
• Factory Acceptance Testing of LV and HV
