Situation

The Christmas Creek mine site required the installation of new shedders and walkways, along with the remediation of severely degraded structural steel to ensure compliance with site safety regulations and restore the integrity of the workspace.

Solution

Aerison was engaged as the primary contractor to replace and rectify degraded structural steel where required.

The scope included:

• Construct and install new shedder and walkway.
• Blast degraded structural steel, install compensation plates and recoat.
• Site inspection, in-house engineering support, in-house fabrication, pre-assembly of shedder and walkways, site installation.

Outcome:

• Successful delivery of construction and structural repair works ensuring compliance and integrity of all structures. 
  During the delivery of the project, Aerison was engaged with the client and built long lasting relationships with the project team.
